It's no secret this place is expensive, but there are a great deal of amenities like hot tub, indoor and outdoor pools, steam and sauna. Things have been very clean during the pandemic, and masks are mandatory when not actively exercising. No one is specific about prices in the reviews--membership is 100/month, 350 sign up fee. Food and drink is reasonable, in the 8-15 for entrees. Spa services are standard price for the area from 75-200. A 1-hr training session is 70. Classes are free. Pools are free. Guests are free on Wednesdays with reservation, otherwise 20. Childcare is 5 for 1 hr. Some of the other reviews are mentioning that the south building is dingy, but they've actually done a great deal of remodeling on it and it's in much better shape than it was a year ago. The north building is gorgeous. My main issue with this place is the other members. I am a fat woman and I do occasionally get an odd look or scoff from other patrons. It's in Westwood so there are pretty much zero POC or other fat people and the environment is a little intimidating in this way. I also think the treatment of their employees is a bit questionable, as I had an experience with a trainer who was let go. No one bothered to inform me that she no longer worked for them and I showed up for my usual training session to find I no longer had a trainer. I don't know if this is because they forgot or had an incorrect number or what--but that incident was unusual to me. It was a missed opportunity to set me up with a new trainer. Overall, it's a beautiful place and there's a wide range of gym equipment, classes, and types of trainers. I've been a member for over a year and the amenities keep me there, but this price tag does attract a very narrow range of people.

First I would like to make it known of how amazingly professional Jacob was at the front desk. He greeted me with a smile and was courteous and knowledgeable. He answered all of my questions and worked well around my busy schedule. The building is lathered with an AMAZING smell from the moment you walk into the doors. The high tech key system and overall feel I got walking through on my tour was the best I have ever had anywhere in Kansas city area. The clubs where all kept clean and looking brand new. There are so many perks to becoming a resident here. I would recommend to everyone I know looking for a place to live & thank you Jacob for making me feel at home from the second we met.

It's dissappointing how Woodside is stingy despite their expensive monthly cost. Their big gym equipments are straight up from the 90's, outdated and all rusty. Also, it just feels like an old high school gym. dirt all over the walls, not enough mirrors, etc. I pay more than double of what I paid at onelife and their equipment and enviroment was way nicer. On top of that, I found out that my friend that referred me got a \free drink\ for the referral? Come on guys, 5 for someone bringing you a client that will pay you 1000s? Other gyms offer as much as a free month for every referral. Need to spend on their people with new equipment and referral program. I am there because of convenience from work and the pools which aren't relevant now that I am working from home and the pools are closed, but I am locked in for 3 more months.
