We needed a place to sit down and eat that would be quick, good, and safe. Second Street hit all the marks. The kids enjoyed some cheeseburgers, and my wife and I split a pizza. The portions were very generous, and the food was delicious. The server was super friendly and attentive, and the food came out very quickly. The menu featured standards, but it is safe to say that the preparation and the atmosphere make this place upscale casual. They advertise outdoor seating, but we are inside. Plenty of social distance and good mask/glove protocols; I was not really worried about safety. This was definitely a good pick, and I recommend it.

This restaurant was awesome. Staff were quick and attentive to our party of six. Food was well above par in taste and temperature. Prices were very reasonable. Atmosphere was dim but not dark or bright and well decorated. Will definitely return. Sorry that I didn't take photos, but the food looked great. Best grilled cheese.
An inviting atmosphere and good food. Outdoor dining is available. Our party had the grilled romaine salad, the Thai chicken wrap salad, and the mushroom cheese pizza which were all good. The desserts on display as you entered looked excellent and I wish I had gotten the carrot cake to go. This restaurant is located less than a 5 minute drive from the colonial Williamsburg visitor center.
Our first time going to the Second Street American Bistro and we absolutely loved it. The food was so good and the service outstanding. Will definitely go there again in the near future.
Absolutely excellent! Everything was on point especially our server Devon S. She recommended some excellent food from the menu and was friendly and efficient, warm and welcoming. All of the food was excellent, my husband said it was the best burger he ever had and I had the seafood casserole that was amazing. Our son got the ribs and they did not disappoint. Upscale feel for reasonable prices. The shareable desert was ridiculously big and so so tasty. We went here on a recommendation from a friend and we were so glad we did. We hope Devon S is still there for our next visit! What a great server! Thank you!
