How would you like start?
Try Scuba for Free: Begin in the shallow end of the pool. We outfit you with all the equipment you need so you can experience what it feels like to breathe underwater and experience the feeling of weightlessness.
PADI Discover Scuba: This activity goes the next step and teaches you some of the skills you need to venture into the deep end of the pool. The cost is $40, but if you decide to go for certification the cost will be credited to the full Open Water Course.
PADI Discover Scuba Diving: This class takes what you learned in the Discover Scuba class into the Open Water for an actual dive with an Instructor. You can use this for your bucket list. There is a cost of $40, but if you decide to go for certification the cost will be credited to the full Open Water Course. This depends on the weather and water conditions.
Open Water Diver Certification: Your First Scuba Diving Course is the PADI Open Water Diver and the cost is $390. Your goal is to become a Certified Open Water Diver.
Another option: PADI e-learning is a convenient way to do the book work on your computer or device. You will pay PADI $179 for the classroom portion and we charge you $299 for the pool and open water portion. Contact Frank at A Water Odyssey Scuba for more information.

Congratulations! You’re certified as an Open Water Diver. The next step is the Advanced Open Water Diver certification. It picks up where the Open Water Diver Course finishes by advancing your knowledge, skills and experience with five open-water dives. There is a book with about 15 short chapters, but you only read the introduction and the five chapters that correspond with the five dives you choose. Two of the required dives are: Underwater Navigation Dive, which is learning how to find your way around the underwater world; and the Deep Dive, which allows you to experience depths deeper than 60 feet safely under the watchful eye of Instructors and Dive Masters. Popular dives that students choose from for the other three dives are: Peak Performance Buoyancy Control, Night Dive, Wreck Dive, Search and Recovery, Underwater Naturalist, Dry Suit Diver, and Underwater photography. The cost is $290. Increase your Knowledge and Skills Continuing Education
Now that you are getting more involved with diving and becoming more adventurous you are ready for the Rescue Diver Certification. This course will challenge you to be a diver who can take care of yourself and your buddy as well as participate in a search and recovery of a lost diver. Many Divers tell us that their confidence and comfort in the water is increased by this certification. The cost is $250.
The Master Scuba Diver Rating is the highest recreational rating awarded to Rescue Divers who have completed 5 Specialties and have logged 50 dives. The cost is $70. CLICK HERE TO KEEP DIVING SIGN UP FOR NEWS
