I had the best time and it was awesome. I couldn’t get my car in their driveway so they came and got me and took me back when done. The dogs were amazing and the ride was more than I expected Matt is the one who took me on the sled. He was great!!! Even took my picture siting on the sled and with the dogs. Can’t express how much I enjoyed this and had so much fun if I ever go back to Alaska would do this again!! Even told me friends if they go to Alaska do this!! Thanks for a great experience

Dog mushing is something I really wanted to do since moving to Alaska, and this experience did NOT disappoint. We had PLENTY of time hanging out with the dogs and getting to know our team. Our guide was very informative and great to talk to. She even stopped and made sure we had some great pictures with the dogs. The ride itself is so fun and you see some amazing views. After the ride you get to warm up with cookies and hang out with the dogs. We could not have asked for a better experience 10/10 would recommend.

We absolutely loved our time with Alaskan Husky Adventures. We felt so welcomed from the moment we arrived. The team was so quick to get us set up and introducing us to all the team even with arriving early. Our daughter who truly want to start mushing soon was in heaven. Truly the perfect Alaskan weekend. We will be back as the kids get older so they can learn more!!

We had such a great time on our adventure!! The views were amazing and so was the hospitality we received before, during and after the tour! We were not prepared for how cold it was going to be that morning and they were so sweet to let us borrow parkas! It was so cool to get to ask them questions about the Iditarod race which our tour guide did last year! Highly recommend this experience of a lifetime!

If you do one thing in your life, near or around Anchorage, this should be it (winter for obvious reasons). This was the one item on the to-do I wanted to do the least and expected it to be touristy but needed to make the wife happy. This ended up being the one item on the to-done list that I liked the most and it made me happy, plus my wife. Absolutely must do! Liz and Matt make this like going over to a friends house to see their dogs. Extremely hospitable and welcoming. Awesome experience. It was crazy cold but I wouldn’t change a single thing.

The trail ride was a gift to my sister and BIL for their anniversary. They had the BEST time, and it was the highlight of their Alaskan adventure last week. They couldn't stop talking about it! The musher was amazing and the dogs were the best!! The icing on the cake was fresh snow along the way! Thank you for providing such an adventure with a personal touch! They loved it!

Cannot state how great this was! Fell in love with dog sledding last year in Denali. But this group was soooo friendly and warm. I’ve heard multiple people wondering if it’s animal cruelty; but I’ve never met owners that I felt anything but love for their animals. These dogs eat well and must to stay in shape. Do the sport once and you realize the dogs love the run. They are so cute; barking and jumping and once they get going it’s all focus and love. We had a great time with the adventure and look forward to the next time.

The dogs of Alaskan Husky Adventures definitely have it good! Matthew, Liz and the handlers take such great care of these 60 dogs. They started getting the team together for our ride, we had the chance to watch these dogs go crazy - wanting to be chosen for the trip. The dogs go on these rides in rotation, so everyone gets a chance to run each day. As we left the yard, we drove through some trees and then on to an open area. The snow was beautiful - and Denali was out for our photo opportunity!. Matthew gave the commands and the lead dogs reacted appropriately! It was fun to be a rider on this trip of a lifetime! (Yes, I plan to go back and mush my own team) The dogs are happy to be in their element. They love what they do and are rewarded along the trail with snacks. I can see that these dogs are truly a member of Matthew and Liz's extended family. It was nice to go into the little gift store and try on Matthew's mushing gloves - and see the size of the boots that he wears when racing. We also got to see his trophies and mementos from the various races. This was an experience I will not forget - Spending a day with a dog team - such a great Alaskan experience.
