It's a very unique shop & the staff is cool once you get to know them . It reminds me of the classic "Mom&Pops" spots from years ago back in the MidWest

This here is the best place to get a lamp fixed. I heard a sad rumor that they are going out of business soon. It's been a long ride... Thank you for lighting up our lives.

This is the last of it's kind store in Phoenix, stores like these have all closed around the US. They could be selling widgets or didgeridoo's and I would still shop here. Thankfully they sell and repair lamps which I dabble in on occasion, I have bought stuff here that I probably will never need just because I enjoy spending time here. If you are looking for a warm cuddly (But fake) customer service experience go to any of the major box stores, if you want good banter and don't mind being told you are wrong and stop wasting your own time, come here. Remember the Seinfeld Soup Nazi character, well you may not be happy at first but getting acceptance by the Wizard of Odz people makes it all worth while. Keep it up!!

On October 3, 2018, I simply called to get a price quote and the woman I spoke with was one-angry-woman. I explained I had a Gone With The Wind Lamp and she immediately interrupted me saying in an angry voice and tone, "I know what a Gone With The Wind Lamp is." I was stunned. Then I said, "I need it completely rewired, can you give me an idea of how much it would cost?" She responded that they charge 34 an hour plus parts. I asked twice how much would the parts cost and she said she would have to see it. All the while, this woman was more than rude, she was mean. I will never go there for anything.

I had the displeasure of interacting with Phillis the owner. I have never experienced such bad customer service in my life. I had dropped off two lamps to be repaired I spoke with Victoria. When I came to pick up my lamps I met Phillis, if had I met her prior to choosing this store to repair my lamps I never would have gone there. I was threatened with an Additional 30 storage fee because my lamps apparently had been ready for 2 weeks. This was handled so poorly that another customer walked out during the altercation with Phillis because it was so uncomfortable. In the future if you are so concerned about your customers not picking up their lamps you should consider having them pay a portion upfront versus harassing them and giving them bogus storage fee costs to keep you afloat. You would probably have repeat customers and be able to make legitimate money by having decent customer service versus having Phillis harass your existing customers. Truly one of the most upsetting customer service experiences I have ever had.

They are experienced lighting specialists have excellent lamp repair services. Known to stock the most parts of any Phx area lighting store. If they don't carry something in-house, they have good sources to order from.
