Super friendly and helpful staff! I was actually taking aback with how kind and considerate each member of the staff was. I came in basically not knowing exactly what I needed and two of the staff took the time to thoughtfully understand what I was seeking and help me find the right items. Kudos to McLendon's! I've only been at that store a handful of times over the years but today's experience made me want to make sure I visit them more regularly.

Best employees with excellent knowledge. I should have come here first. The gentleman who helped me find my plumbing fittings knew his stuff! He's the guy with the huge white beard. Wish I knew his name so I could give him the recognition he deserves!
Mclendon hardware is the best \toy store\ for any hardware item. I have been going there for 30 years. Good service, knowledgeable and friendly employees friend...Many stores and many items.
I am here at least every two weeks for the best-priced propane around. I was pretty disappointed at their early response to Covid. They were less than believable in their half-masked initial efforts. I am happy to report they've changed their tack and appear to be aggressive in their current safety measures. This is a true neighborhood hardware store. Helpful and knowledgeable staff. Parking can be an issue.
A well stocked little hardware store with just about everything you'll need, including paint and stain, etc. They have a plumbing aisle with a special help desk which is useful. A great variety of plants, especially during Spring & Summer, as well as many planters/pots, and garden accessories. They also have a Loading Bay for soil, bark, stones, pavers, etc. Consult the Catalogue at the checkout for what you want and pay for it, then get a loading slip and drive through so they can load your trunk for you. They're offering curbside pickup during Covid-19. Call, order and pay with a CC, then drive through and pick up.
