As a smart business person, is stealing 1 worth exchanging for an unfavorable review? I'll let you decide. One of the moving crewmen Matt, just commandeered my change from me. Essentially stealing my money. The amount? 1 dollar. But the amount is not the issue; rather it's the cavalier attitude displayed by the crewman. I had a piece of furniture from Facebook Marketplace delivered to me by Town to Town Movers (arranged by their sister business, Woo Town Furniture for a fee paid by me). After making the agreed payment, Matt provided the change, short 1. I requested the full amount which he said he didn't have. I asked what the solution should be given that we agreed on a transaction at a certain amount. His response? He walked away from me and hastily drove off in the moving truck without providing my change. Indicating to me that he believed he had a right to keep the change. Whether it is 1 or 100, this can best be defined as stealing. To ensure better business practices, the option left to me to consider is to file a complaint to the Better Business Bureau, not because I want or need the 1, but to highlight the importance of honesty with business practices. I won't even consider using this service again, if only for their lack of customer relations principles.

Town to Town Movers was able to schedule a professional office move for me on short notice; no other local companies had that type of flexibility to accommodate! The office staff was courteous, professional and followed up with phone calls. The movers themselves were likewise highly professional and responsive! I would (and will!) hire them again in a heartbeat.

We moved on April 11, 2020. We weren't as prepared as we could have been (this means we weren't too organized and they had to work around that), but the three young gentlemen were courteous, diligent, and professional. I had to leave mid-way to bring the cat to the new home, and I was gone for about an hour (hubby was with them) When I arrived at the new location they were in progress, and had arranged our finished basement Family Room EXACTLY the way I'd envisioned it, and I was so touched by their thoughtfulness and consideration for us! I hope not to have to move again, but I would definitely reccomend them, and if we have to, we will call on Town to Town movers again!
