I have always wanted to take a carriage ride and decided to do so during our recent visit to San Antonio. Skylar and Lulu the horse made the ride downtown very special and memorable! I recommend riding with them! The carriage was beautifully decorated and seeing the lights downtown at night was spectacular! Looking forward to next time! Thank you Skylar and Lulu!

I have NOT taken a carriage ride from this establishment. Animal welfare is a part of any experience that includes a living, feeling being. I was appalled to see that this business houses their horses in an outbuilding, on the east side of the downtown area. (Another reviewer added a photo of this building with the Yellow Rose signage displayed. I have enclosed photos also.) This building has no air conditioning and if you drive by you will see that they do not keep the building fans on at all times. Consider the experience a horse might have in this building and consider the location of the building. San Antonio,Texas in the summer hits triple digits and often has a heat index that surpasses the temperature. For example: temperature measures at 100 degrees F. The weather service notes this, and supplies a "real feel" temperature of 109 degrees F. Closing any animal up in a metal and plywood "barn" with little or no ventilation in San Antonio, TX in the summer is inhumane. If you doubt this try closing yourself up in a building such as this in the summer in San Antonio. I recommend researching any business based on services provided by an animal. If the conditions are unpleasant for the animal I, personally, would NOT give them my business.
The most professional, organized horse and carriage that I have ever come across. All of those horses are well maintained and beautiful, and well taken care of and it shows. I highly recommend this company for friends, families, and companies. Any special events coming up? I would most definitely hire them. What a great experience!!
I had the best day ever downtown! I have always wanted to do the carriage rides and never took the time. My husband and I decided to do something different and they were amazing. Melissa was amazing and was so friendly. I am going to bring my kids next time. Thank you so much for making us feel great and giving 100% customer service.
We really enjoyed our Carriage Ride around San Antonio, it was Memorial Day Weekend & our daughters 18th bday, the horses were pretty & well kept, the driver was knowledgeable ab the area & very personable, she let my daughter turn the lights to her favorite color for the ride & really made it fun for her. 75 for 3 of us. We would definitely ride w/them again.
Spent 50 to listen to the driver talk about her horse the whole time. My husband and I were struggling to talk to each other because she constantly interjected. Any time there was even a SECOND of silence, she’d start talking. We didn’t enjoy our experience at all. Though the man we spoke to (I think was an owner) was extremely nice and took pictures for us.
Most over priced, low quality ride you will ever experience.. 100 for a ride around the block for about the fastest 20 min ride ever. Was surprised by the price too.
Absolutely wonderful experience. Very knowledgeable drivers, and BEAUTIFUL healthy well cared for horses. If you want the best this is the company to look for. HIGHLY RECOMMENDED.
