Used to go to "yings" A LOT in years gone by, food was always good, and prices reasonable. Not any more! Was in Buffalo on business and ordered take out for six people, NOT ONE meal was acceptable. When I called to complain, I was put on "hold" for some 15 min. The "bottom line" was they would do nothing about the lousy food at all! But guess what? It was on a charge card! I filed for reversal of charges! Shame...When I lived in the area 3 to 4 years ago it was not like this. I guess "jim" got greedy and / or lost all his "good help" Do yourself and everyone else a favor...CLOSE

Ordered Chinese food for delivery. Fed 4 1/2 incluing a generous tip for speedy delivery for 30. The food arrived hot in a very reasonable amount of time to a local hotel. It was positively the worst Chinese food I've ever had in my life, and I've had some pretty horrible Chinese food (... this one time in Equatorial Guinea... yeah, worse than that). The fried rice was passable, but the fried chicken dishes (sweet and sour, orange, and generals) were horrible. Finding the chicken was an impossible scavenger hunt amongst the breading in yucky sauce. Most amazing was that the soy sauce and duck sauce packets were actually awful. How in the world can they mess up packets? Wow. Epic fail.
After the expanded and started becoming more of a bar and less of a Chinese restaurant the food and service suffered. The chinese food is tolerable at best as most of the food seems stale or reheated. Ying's has become more of a dive bar that happens to serve some food. The service is awful due to nobody taking orders, checking on your food etc. If you step foot in the restaurant it's pretty dirty and low rent. If you're looking to get food, look elsewhere.
The service is terrible. The food was disgusting. I have never been to such a scum filled place stay away.
This places food used to be better before it was a bar. Now the drinks are their main business and the chinese food isn't as good.

On 8/3/2012 I decided to try Yings on Eggert Rd. for the first time. Boy was I disappointed. When I called to find out about delivery I was told about an hour. I waited an 1 1/2 hrs before calling back. I was told it should have left along time ago and should be arriving any minute. Ok great. Then another 15 min came and went I called back. The owner was delivering my food and it will be about another 7 min. Now your looking at 2 hrs. The owner gets here and is so busy and really didn't seem to care that I was a first time customer and that I was dissatisfied. Then he was like call Judy tell her to give you a 5 credit. OK. I didn't call because when I dished out our food it was luke warm if that. The french fries were mushy and barely warm. I asked them for a cheeseburger sub without lettuce and tomato and got the things I did not want. My husbands Stinger was horrible and dry. The chicken was overcooked to almost burnt. I WILL NOT GO BACK!!!!! Very unhappy
