I give 3 stars simply because this location of Young Williams provides the best service they can to me personally based on State requirements and regulations. What I would give negative stars to is the State of Kansas. The system they have set up is a joke. Child Support Services is the epitome of a Government-backed office wasting tax payer money. Hold times are at minimum 15 minutes and up to 30 minutes or even an hour just to talk to someone (22 minutes at the writing of this review). It is State LAW that address changes, job changes, etc. must be submitted to the State within a certain amount of time. . . .yet, you have to wait on hold for an exorbitant amount of time, simply to do what you are legally required to do. Again, Child Support Services is the epitome of a state run office wasting time and money for everyone. Furthermore, the state needs to either farm out every support case or none of them. Kansas is absolutely ridiculous in their handling of Child Support. As long as they get money from the system they truly don't care about the children or their families. It is all about money. All that said, for what this particular Young Williams local office is asked by the state of Kansas to do, they have been helpful to me and once I get a real person with Child Support Services they have been very helpful in getting the information logged and sent to a case worker to get updated. Today I spoke with a gentleman that was very friendly and incredibly helpful, so the people themselves are good once you get them on the line. It is the process that needs a TON of improvement.
Surprisingly good for a government agency. You can actually talk to a human being! They are responsive, personable, helpful, and caring.

I'd give no stars. Very disrespectful! Not helpful at all. Can't get my own case manger to call me back. I get her voice mail that says she has been on a lunch break for almost 3 hours! Amazing. Thought this was to help me out. I'm confused! Unprofessional!
