We had a great time as a family renting two jet skis at Cumberland Jet Ski Rentals. The owner met us at the dock and we were ready in no time. We elected to do a two hour rental and we had a blast! My two girls (Ages 9,6) loved the tour we got and riding the rivers/marshes. We are actually planning a trip back to Amelia Island again next summer and already plan on making the short drive to Cumberland Jet Ski Rentals.

I and my 16 yr old daughter were road tripping the east coast. We wanted to visit Cumberland Island but the ferry was closed due to COVID. So we found Spencer and Cumberland Jet Skis. So glad we did and we would do it the same again. Spencer was a great host and his jet skis are practically brand new and well taken care of. My daughter and I rode one together and at our request Spencer gladly led us on an impromptu tour of Cumberland Island. He was very knowledgeable of the island and he took us to different parts over the course of hour 2 hour rental. Not only did we get to see plenty of the wild horses (and their young colts) we were hoping to see but also saw (up close) a sea turtle, a large sting ray jump out of the water, and several manatees. Riding the Seadoos was a bonus and Spencer would’ve been happy for us to just “cut-up” on the Seadoos if that is what we had intended (which is why lost people do I imagine). So great day with great memories and super host - well worth the 150 for 2 hours (so much so I left what I hope is a good tip)!
On a scale of 1-10 this place deserves a 20. My family and I had the best time. This was the last thing we done on our week Vacation and it was the best decision we made. We truly ended the Vacation with a bang. The kids had a blast, even when I flipped us off ours. I can’t remember the tour guides name but he was super cool and chill. We didn’t get to go to Cumberland Island like we wanted due to weather, but that just gives us another excuse to come back sooner and do it all over again! Super awesome experience! Perfect place to go jet skiing!
Great experience with Cumberland jet ski. We had a fun time with our guide Charlie. Our teenagers loved to drive the jet skis and Charlie took us on a short history tour from the jet skis but then took us to a secluded stretch of water where the boys could open up and have some fun. Charlie was attentive and made sure the jet skis were being operating safely but our boys did get to go fast and really had a great time.
As a first-time jetskier, I never felt uncomfortable in the water. We wound our way through the tributaries and saw a dolphin surface while crawling through a no wake zone. Be sure to call ahead and make a reservation a few days out for an experience you’re sure to remember!
My husband, myself and our two daughters had the most amazing experience on the two hour guided tour! We were greeted that morning with smiles, taught exactly how to ride the jet skis safely, and taken on an extremely fun and energetic ride! Everyone was so nice and our family will definitely be going back the next time we are in the area! We would recommend this company to everyone we know!
Absolutely highly recommend!! Spencer was so much fun. He made the experience even better. The scenery is spectacular and the jet skis were FAST!! This was a first for my daughter and she had such a great time. We plan on taking the 2 hour experience next time.
