My husband and I went here to get our daughter her first "real" skateboard. Jose was very helpful and friendly and put together for us our daughters first skateboard. Love Jose, great employee with the sweetest dogs that go to work with him.

I'm not your typical Skateboard buyer, but my boys ages 6 and 10 wanted skateboards and I like advice on things I know nothing about. Jose was great, took a lot of his time with us answering questions and making suggestions and ordered us 2 boards. Far greater experience than I would have expected.
Jose is the best! He really goes all-out to take care of his customers. I haven't been on a board in over a decade, and I've gotten fat. I decided I want to get back in shape by getting some wheels under me and having some fun. Not only did he get me set up with a really high-quality complete, he's going to order some shoes for me that fit my list of requirements. Jose's shop is the absolute best in Springfield, and I'll be getting everything I need to keep skating from here, exclusively.
Being a first time rider/buyer in my mid 20's I was kind of iffy on even going through with it because I had the feeling i was "too old" to start. Anyways I decided to support a local shop (which I recommend anyone do) and let me tell you I was not disappointed! The customer service and professionalism I received from 41/7 was awesome and not once did I feel out of place. Just want to thank Jose, the guy who made my first purchase so easy. I'll definitely be coming back!
I was poor and completely naive to the skateboarding world. The owner of this shop was courteous, informative, and charismatic about what he does. And what he does is skateboard. He wants to share that with the world. I wasn't cheated from my money and was given quality products. If you want to find a place to start this is your true north.
Jose is super kind and helpful. Good prices on equipment and he throws in free hardware and tape with your purchase. Great experience.
The owner was able to special order a helmet for our two year old. We took measurements and he called his supplier. The helmet fits perfectly and she loves it. Great skate shop, great service.
