I made and confirmed my bridal appointment. I showed up, and the place was closed. I came back a few hours later to find the store open with maybe 50 wedding dresses and full of children's clothes. Not sure what is going on with this place, but don't waste your time.

I was so excited to pick up my dress, however several different times I was told it was not ready. Then today when I pick it up and try it on I notice the dress was not finished and the alteration job was shoddy at best. Seams not finished, parts of other dresses used to alter mine. Clearly, my dachshund or my friends toddler could have done a better job. To say I am disappointed, doesn't even cover the emotions that I am feeling right now. I simply took my losses collected my dress and will take it to a reputable place to get it fixed correctly. My wedding dress is beautiful, but absolutely under no circumstance have this establishment alter your dress! An extra 100 down the drain for the absolute worst alteration job I have ever seen. Let me correct that it wasn't even remotely finished and she tried to pass it off like it was! NEVER AGAIN!
DO NOT GET YOUR ALTERATIONS DONE HERE!!!! I bought my daughters prom dress here and she wanted sleeves added along with other alterations. I paid almost 150 for some chopped up alterations. We picked the dress up after alterations, but never thought to inspect the work. They used WHITE thread with a tan fabric, the beading was falling off and some of the seams hadn't even been sewn and had holes. The piece added to the inside of the bodice was literally just "tacked" on. It was a horrible experience and very sad considering they were so nice and made you really think they were the best at alterations and knew what they were doing. We brought the dress home where it hung until last night and that's when I noticed the white thread and then I really got to inspecting the dress and was devastated by the carelessness put into this dress. So needless to say, I'm having to take it to someone else and pray these issues can be fixed in a DAY considering her prom is tomorrow. I wish I would have read the alteration reviews before allowing this place to ruin a 600 dress!! It's nice to see that I'm not the only one this has happened to but also heartbreaking that this place continues to have such poor service on alterations without a care. I will post a few pictures in comments.
If I could give this place less then one star I would! DO NOT GO HERE! The owner almost ruined my wedding dress, luckily I caught on before she went any further. She said she let out my dress and didn't, to then tell me she needed to put a corset in it, and she didn't even let it Out to begin with. The bar cups were all sorts of wrong, The hem was terrible and she put a hole in the side of my dress and she refuses to give you a full refund! She also made some flower girl dresses for me, I brought in a picture and she said she could make the dress. The ones she made were not even close to the picture I brought in, wrong color, to short and she used the wrong thread color, see pictures for proof. The one with the blue sash is what she was trying to give me as a finished product and the white dress is the picture I had given her. Do yourself a favor and stay very far away from this place, luckily I found a seamstress to save my dress and make it perfect and she said it was not the first time she had to fix her mistakes.
Run far, far away from this place. When you think you've run far enough, run another 100 miles. That's how far away you'll need to be to escape the unsurpassable piles of BS Dena (the owner) will throw at you!! There's only one trait in her possession that vastly overpowers her ability to project such an impressive amount of BS and that's her colossal incompetence as a tailor. Perhaps she's been swimming in her own BS for so long that she's convinced herself she truly is the impeccable dressmaker she tries so hard to pretend to be. But this lie is only testament to the sheer amount that will follow if you let her utter more than one sentence. This is how she's been able to stay in business folks. Are you running yet? For your sake, I hope so!
I wish I had known this place existed ages ago! A consignment shop for wedding and formal dresses is a unicorn in the Murfreesboro area. The owner is super sweet and so personable. I will recommend this place over and over again.
I’m a bit late on the train, but I went prom dress shopping here last year and the lady was nice at first. My mom, friend and I finally found a dress that I really liked. My mom put down a 200 dollar deposit because I hadn’t gotten paid yet and the lady said she couldn’t hold it unless we did. A few days later and it got closer to prom, I decided I didn’t want the dress anymore and went to look elsewhere after reading all the bad reviews, I then found a dress I fell in love with (I paid 600 for it).My mom tried to get back her 200, but the lady had told her no that she wasn’t able to give it back.. although she had it still she just DIDN’T want to!. So my mom being the nice woman she is, asked politely if we could get in store credit as in just get enough things that’ll add up to 200 for the money she put down. The lady then told her no. She just wants your money and has terrible costumer service.! DO NOT GO HERE!.. I recommend Bridal Country, they’re so nice and VERY fast on alternations.
I just stopped in to see if I could find a bridal gown (since 3 weeks from my wedding, mine doesn’t fit). They were so kind and helpful. I found an unaltered Oleg Cassini at a steal of a price. (I have previously bought an evening gown from them that they altered, but the wedding gown didn’t require it.) highly recommend!
