A1 service. Had a lens fixed as well as repairs on my Canon 7D. Just took what seems like a long time to get them back. But we were told upfront the time estimate.

Very highly recommend! Always repairing my camera, lenses, etc in perfect and proper order. Genuinely good people. You're lucky if you've found this place!

Excellent service, honest technicians and reasonable prices...what more can one ask for in a camera repair shop? Some of the reviewers on here don't understand just how hard parts are to get for some camera equipment, and have unrealistic expectations about why local small businesses can't work for free. In the REAL world, it takes time and skill to check out sophisticated camera equipment to determine what is wrong with it. I have no problem paying for that but apparently some do...they must be millennials ;-)!

Thought my beloved (and expensive) camera was toast. A1 found a very complex problem and fixed it for far less than it would have cost for the manufacturer to even look at it. Expect a long wait - 6 weeks in my case - but these guys can get it done when others give up!

Their customer service doesn't earn the 5 stars, but their camera repair skills certainly do! I would have appreciated more hours (most people work during the hours they are open) and more ways to contact them. (They also rarely answer the phone, but you usually get a returned call if you leave a voicemail.) Despite my complains with their customer service, they did an excellent job repairing my Nikon D90 LCD screen. I got it back in perfect shape! For this reason, I'm leaving 5 stars, and would recommend to a friend. I will keep them in mind for all my camera repairs (they are about the best option in Louisville for the time), but would be much happier with better customer service.

The best place on the face of this earth. I went in having absolutely 0% faith that they’d be able to fix my cameras issue. It was one that had been bugging me for THREE LONG YEARS. What had happened was my button that had the modes of my camera on it fell off. Just the top piece with the pictures/names. So I thought I’d try to super glue it back on. Well, super glue is quite super to say the least. My whole mode dial was “frozen” stuck in its place from the glue. That means I shot on automatic mode for 3 loooong years. I had look into every posssible opportunity/way to fix my beloved camera. I didn’t want something new, I loved the one I had!! So I thought to give it one last shot and see if a1 could help me. Now granted, being a somewhat experienced photographer, telling another professional I superglued my camera shut was mortifying. I was so embarrassed explaining it. I had told the schpeel multiple times, and gotten the bewildered looks of confusion. Although, this was DEFINITELY not the case when I went to A-1. The nice man that helped me at their front desk was so sweet and understanding!! He didn’t make me feel silly which I greatly appreciated. They took my camera, my baby, and now- 8 weeks later, it’s good as new!!!! I WAITED THREE LONG YEARS AND A1 FOZED MY CAMERA IN 8 WEEKS. THANKS A-1!!!!!!️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️️

I sent a lens in to be fixed and got it today. They took about 4 weeks, even though I gave them the replacement part, but I can't complain because they were very forthcoming and told me it would take that long. I agreed, they kept their word, and everything is working. My lens even came back super clean.
