I don’t normally leave reviews, but felt compelled to after the encounter my mother and I both had on three separate/ independent occasions. Very rude and horrible service. On my trip, I walked in with a vacuum for repair and the owner didn’t even give it a second look after saying it’s not worth our time. Additionally, when asking about products(vacuums) available in the store for purchase, I was disregarded and told I wouldn’t be interested due to price. I’d also like to add that when my white colleague(as my mother, a hijabi Muslim and I are both POC) went in check out the store out of disbelief of our treatment, he was welcomed and treated WARMLY.

THEY THREW AWAY MY VACUUM WITHOUT MY PERMISSION! I would give them ZERO stars if that were an option. I took my vacuum there for a repair estimate. When they told me the cost for repair, I couldn't afford it, so I was waiting to be able to afford. After 90 days, I went in, and they said they threw it away!!!!! They claim they called me three times, but they did not once leave me a voicemail telling me they were throwing my vacuum away. To make matters worse, the incredibly rude owner treated me TERRIBLY. He was not sorry he threw it away, he said it had no value, and refused to come to a compromise. This place has horrible policies and horrible customer service, and I've submitted a complaint to the Better Business Bureau.
they did a good job repairing my old vac at a fair price! so i came back and bought a new miele which is a great vacuum and i found the owner to be knowledgeable and nice will go no where else for a vacuum or repair.feb 8th 2019
I first called looking to replace the filter in our vacuum with a HEPA filter. The owner informed me that he carried them in stock. When I arrived at the store, the owner was friendly and helpful, also providing me with the bags I needed for the vacuum. He packaged my items in a bag and taped it closed so I could easily attach it to my bike rack. When I arrived home I noted that the new filter was a much tighter fit than the old one which was not a HEPA version. I was not able to close the cover door. I called the store again and the owner told me this was normal and that I should push down hard at the corners and not worry about breaking anything. Sure enough this worked. The price I was charged was consistent with other online sellers. Given that we are supporting a local business, the items were in stock, and I benefited from the store's expertise, we would definitely rely on this store for our future vacuum maintenance needs.
Rude and totally unhelpful staff. Came here once to get my miele vacuum looked at after it stopped working. A week later I was told there is nothing wrong with it and it probably overheated. I came back a second time after it stopped working again (after 20 min of regular use, no way it was overheated, and all bags/filters were replaced with new ones) and the guy refused to look at it or order any parts under warranty without seeing the hose first bc he wanted to check for a blockage. I know it is not a blockage because i had already checked for that at home... it's a non-electric vacuum head that I clean after every use. And, the reason I didn't bring the hose in is because the first time I brought everything in, he took the hose and head off immediately without even looking at it and gave it back to me before I left. He also didn't have the decency to hold the door open as I struggled with a baby stroller in one hand and a vacuum in the other while his store was completely empty. I might have considered buying a new vacuum from here if not for this unpleasant experience. I'll be taking my business to cityhome vacuum where the staff is more helpful, courteous, and understanding.
They were very polite. They diagnosed the problem right away and had it fixed in 2 days. I was very happy with the service and the atmosphere of the store which is very well appointed.

so I have a VAX vacuum the Brush Roller was broken. They "fixed" it for 120.00. I used it less than three times and it broke again, same thing. Brought it back and they never even looked at it. They now tell me they can not get parts for this. 1. If they can not get parts what did they "fix" it the first time? 2. Why not even look at the vacuum? 3. Why did they charge me 120.00 if they could not get parts and did not properly fix it? So I go on-line to the Vax site and they have ALL OF THE PARTS for the Vacuum, all you might need. These guys could not care less and never even looked at my vacuum or online for the parts that are easily available. They just do not care but I feel ripped off for the work they did not do since it broke again in short order but they sure took my money. DO NOT USE THEM.
