All star course. Good value on weekdays before 9:00 am. So fun to play and some tough greens.

Beautiful views, lots of elevation changes, very challenging small greens, and some great par 3s. But extremely narrow, tree-lined fairways make it frustrating, especially when you have to hit driver to avoid a 300 yard second shot. And if you miss one of these fairways by more than 10-20 yards your ball is lost on most holes. I'll never go back and pay full price, lucky I got the twilight rate. Also, the beverage cart never came around, there's no halfway house, and the bar at the clubhouse apparently closed around 4 so there was no way to get any food or drinks unless I bought them ahead of time.

Just played Abbey Spring golf course and it was spectacular! The trees have changed colors and course looked great. Lot of elevation changes, blind shots, fairways are in great shape as well as the greens. The sand was actually sand and easy to play out of . The views were awesome. We took a few pics and the staff let us out early and we had the course to ourselves. Just a great day and great venue ! Highly recommend this course ! We couldn’t believe the price and the food was reasonably priced and quick . The staff friendly and helpful. Nice putting area for practice and a net set up to warm up . Very nice !!

Very challenging course at a great value to comparable courses in Illinois. Narrow fairways, need to hit 'em straight.

If you are not a low handicapper, you will have an unpleasant experience. Most holes have woods on both sides of the fairways, and the greens are very tough to putt.
