Didn't feel like cooking and wanted to treat my family to BBQ. The brisket and pulled pork sandwiches were tasteless and overcooked to the point it was like eating dust. The only good thing about the sandwiches were the rolls. Same meat must have been used in the chili because it was just as dry. Was hoping to at least enjoy the lemon bar but it had chunks of rind throughout the bar and was too sweet. After the first few bites, my family was done. Wasted 60 and ended up doing what I didn't feel like doing in the beginning, cook. I never write reviews but I was extremely disappointed with all the food. Out of the 4 meals that were purchased, the chicken wings was the only thing eatable. Support the local restaurants they say. You have to step up your game if you want more support. You also have to remember we are out here struggling too and don't have money trees growing in our backyards. Hoping this was just an off night for the restaurant. Wishing you the best. First time there. Just moved to the area so gonna check out the rest of their menu. Owner was there. Incredibly friendly. Nice atmosphere felt super comfortable there. Had ribs and brisket. Loved the ribs. Brisket was good but definitely the ribs. Collard greens were legit as well. Cornbread was tasty. Lots of sauces to try. Definitely coming back. They have sandwiches and burritos to try
Absolutely love this place, if you’re craving BBQ look no further. My wife and I have been here 1/2 a dozen times after discovering it earlier this year and have never been disappointed. Last time we went we split the Burnt-ends, Ribs, Hush Puppies and Tots and it’s was all delicious. They have a pretty good craft beer selection and be sure to get a few different sauces as they’re all good.
If your looking for authentic BBQ this is the place to go! I have been he multiple times and i am highly satisfied with the food and staff. Would highly recommend!
This is a great BBQ place and a great place to get food in general. The care that the staff puts into the food is extraordinary and really shines through in the taste. I would highly recommend getting the Mac n Cow, which is one of the best sandwiches that I have ever had. They also give massive portions of food(I have never been able to finish an entire meal). This place is just amazing, and I recommend it to anyone who is in the mood for some good BBQ.
