he is very rude and nasty person he gave you estimate and when the job is done he raised the price. and if the customer does not pay the extra money he work with the inspection the inspection say if you dont contact the company i give you a 2,000 dollar fine the inspection work with the owner of the company after the jon finish i saw leaking he did a terribale work he put junk dirt with the stone and the backyard looks terriable after he finish and the pipe loooked at the direction us it lookes terriable

I used Above Environmental Services to take out a contained/abandoned tank on my property in Bergen County, NJ. They were recommended to us by a trusted contractor that we use. Tom Bove and company did an excellent job and were professional & friendly. They showed up on time, worked quickly, safely, and efficiently, and didn't charge us an arm-and-a leg. We couldn't have asked for a better experience during what can be a tricky and occasional stressful process. More details below: We bought our house years ago with the tank already disconnected, cleaned out, filled with gravel, and buried. We figured we'd get rid of it so we don't have to deal with it years from now if/when we want to sell. After using Eco Logic Environmental to locate the precise spot of the tank, Matt and Tom (not the owner) from Above Environmental came to our house with a small excavator, dug up the tank, pulled it out of the ground, checked for leaks and tested for soil contamination - no leaks nor any contamination. Matt was incredibly skilled with the excavator in a tight space and Tom did everything that the digger didn't do, which was a lot. The inspector came later in the day to check out the site. All was good. Matt and Tom and the excavator came back a day later and filled the hole. Done. Overall, the folks at Above Environmental were nice, professional, fast and did a good job of cleaning up. Can't recommend them highly enough.
Above did an excellent job removing our old oil tank. We are selling the house and the tank had been filled in many years ago but the buyer wanted it removed. Tom and his staff were exceptional and reasonably priced. Thank you as we are now set to close on the house this week.
Amazing staff and service. Above Environmental's team took care of our very old oil tank situation and were done much faster than I anticipated. I was impressed with their friendliness and quick turn around. I'd def recommend them to anyone who needs this type of service.
I HIGHLY recommend Above Environmental -- really can't say enough good things about Tom Bove & his company! We retained their services for the removal of an old underground oil storage tank that was found in connection with the sale of an elderly family member's home. When the tank was removed, the tank & conditions surrounding it were such that the closure couldn't be certified without further action. Tom Bove was incredibly knowledgeable, reliable, trustworthy, efficient & professional at every step of the way. He not only ensured that the work was performed properly, but he also helped us analyze the possible courses of action at a time when we were very worried about what could have been unlimited potential exposure that would stand in the way of a sale. Tom expertly guided us down a path that allowed us to obtain a No Further Action Letter from the NJ DEP as efficiently, economically, & professionally as anyone could hope.
