I frequent this store and usually have a good experience shopping here. The thing that kills me is check out. Every single time at this location paying for my items takes 30 minutes or more. As I write this, the line is wrapped halfway around the store and there are 2 cashiers. I'm a patient person but it's always ridiculous. I love this store but I question if what I'm buying is even worth the wait.

UPDATE: THIS LOCATION IS CLOSING. FINAL SALES AND UP TO 80% OFF WHAT'S LEFT. FINAL DATE IS AROUND FEBRUARY 29TH! Not a huge selection. Sells predominantly the basics for art supplies and well established brands. You won't find new trendy items or limited edition specialty items. No fabric department. Staff can be helpful but isn't knowledgeable beyond the basics. They offer some classes and can host a kid's birthday party, although the room is fairly small in my opinion. If I run out of something....paper, glue, pens, ink, etc., I go here. If I want to check out new products or peruse different ideas and brands, I go to Michael's. A lot of what they offer is exactly the same as it was a few years ago.
I love this Store! It's always stocked and it has some wonderful staff. This young lady, I think her name was Melody, she was so helpful. She took the time and really helped me out with finding the correct product for my art project. It turned out to be a fantastic suggestion by her and my art project turned out much better for it. She is a true asset to A.C.Moore. Thank you!
If you are not a "crafty" person, you can find all the help you need at A.C. Moore's. If you are skilled at crafts, you will find everything you need there on display. The prices are reasonable. I just enjoy rambling around the store. There are so many pretty things there. If I can't find something, their staff is always available to help. They are knowledgeable and friendly. Take advantage of their seasonal sales. Great prices!

I found that this particular location was not terribly well stocked, and I couldn't find several of the items I was looking for. Some sections of seasonal floral area of the store we're pretty much empty!
