I got terribly sick from NP Thyroid and was quickly put on a different NDT hormone by my doctor. Then, two pharmacies called about the recalled NP Thyroid. I realized that the 30 mg NP Thyroid was the recalled medication I had taken. I threw them out. Later, I found out that the company is required to reimburse patients for recalled meds, but they will not do it unless you can return the medication. I would not recommend this company.

I received a call from my local pharmacy yesterday stating that my NP thyroid medication may be recalled and was given a number to call Acella Pharmaceuticals. I called that afternoon and got an automated machine message stating high call volumes and to call back another time. Now calling today and still no one answers, it doesn't give an estimated wait time. I called another number and when I finally got a rep on the phone after lying about which medication I was calling about I was redirected to the dead end phone extension. Then when trying to send a message on their \contact me\ boxes, it wouldn't send. Thic company obviously doesn't care about the population they serve and why would they? They're still getting paid without having to suffer any repercussions.

Yes NP thyroid was once a fantastic medication. However, recent batches (From 09/2019 onward) from pharmacies around the country can confirm that their latest formula smells like rotting flesh and the pill has changed in both size and appearance. I don’t know where or how they are sourcing their thyroid hormone from, but it definitely isn’t what it used to be. I feel horrible now and this was the only medication that worked for me.

I was taking NP Thyroid 30 MG for about a year and after taking the med first thing in the morning, I started getting dizzy! My day was ruined for months because the med made me so dizzy! I finally went to my Dr. and she said to stop taking it! Now I am not on any thyroid med. Hope I can survive without a thyroid med!

Is acella trying to kill us? NP thyroid saved me when naturethroid decided to discontinue its natural thyroid with no warning to its customers who depends on it to live. Now I open a new bottle and it smells like rat poison and tastes even worse. clearly they've done something terrible without any warning thinking folks won't notice. But already there are reports of people vomiting, going hypothyroid, and having many other terrible side effects. Come on Acella I thought you were one of the good guys!
