Call ahead. We showed up at 2pm on Saturday, an hour before the closing time and everything was locked up. The stoves looked nice through the window, but would actually preferred to see them in person. Other people drove up and walked up to the closed door as we were leaving.

Great place to buy a stove , they have all the accessories you need in stock , great to deal with and very nice . I would come back again . We drove for an hour just to buy a stove from them , Jotul is the best !

This review is for Harrisonburg location. They came to our house twice to measure for gas insert. When they came to install the unit they recommended, it did not fit. In addition, the back plate was still not cut correctly, even after we provided the old face front to use as a template. Will probably be weeks before a smaller unit will be ready to install. Will be without use of fireplace for probably two months. They could have offered to install an in stock smaller gas unit as a temporary fix (since this was their fault - they did measure twice)...but alas, no. At least the eventual smaller unit will be less expensive, and I would expect ACME to also discount the total cost as a good gesture for the inconvenience. Time will tell.

Several years ago I purchased a gas set for a home fireplace remodel. We were very impressed with the overall purchase experience and the installation was flawless. Approximately 10 days ago I recontacted Acme by phone as we began to experience with \lighting\ the unit. I was told over the phone that they were very busy and a lady would be in touch in a few days to schedule a service call. I never received a return call and today (12-18-2019) I recontacted them and spoke to Asley who informed me they did not have a service tech in Harrisonburg and only provided service if the unit was under warranty...usually for 1 year. They did provide me with the names of two individuals who they recommended. In addition, she called into question my original phone call and informed me that I must have called another one of their locations. She had no additional explanation and was unapologetic. Contacted Southern States and they are scheduled to be here tomorrow morning. Acme has lost a customer.
