You go to PT because you feel lousy; something hurts and you need help. All I want is to improve and feel better, be treated respectfully, listened to, encouraged and challenged. This doesn't seem an unreasonable expectation; and at Active Life Physical Therapy it isn't at all unreasonable, in fact all my expectations are exceeded. From the warm welcome each visit, the highly engaged and motivated therapists and staff partner with me on our plan to \heal.\ Beyond their medical, scientific expertise, they make it fun too.

My 11-year-old daughter was seen at Active Life for about 10 weeks for knee pain, which was likely associated with a rapid growth spurt. When we started at Active Life, she couldn't run, limped up and down stairs, and only enjoyed swimming as exercise because everything else bothered her knee. Dr. Ben Welch did an incredible job of diagnosing the issues and working with her. She had significant muscle weakness in the leg with the knee pain, and he did a great job of pushing her during the appointments and adjusting her at-home exercises throughout the course of 20 appointments. Her knee pain was gone about midway through our time there, and he continued working on the muscle imbalance until we left for a month-long trip to visit family. She kept up with the prescribed exercises while we were gone, and now she is 100% back to normal. She is faster and stronger than she was before the knee pain began. Thank you, Dr.Welch and the team at Active Life!

I highly recommend Active Life Physical Therapy Lutherville for anyone in need of pain management. The entire staff is warm and welcoming, and I especially enjoyed getting to know Andy and Rachel. John is an exceptional PT with abundant knowledge and expertise. I went into physical therapy with uncertainty and doubt and came out of it with a hopeful outlook and newfound strength.

I was referred to Active Life Therapy after a back injury. Jimmies my therapist and he's been great! They really listen to you concerns and make adjustment each visit to best suit your needs. I have been to therapy in the the past were you feel like your just doing everything asked of you with no improvement. Each time I walk in Jimmy asks how things are working for me and if I'm comfortable with anything he added during the previous visit. He also asks how I feel that day and address and issue I mention. Over all it makes me feel he cares and I'm looking forward to my next visit. Thanks for the great care, Sandy
