This is a personal review of my interview experience with Acuity. Acuity is in a business building on the 8th floor. I had interviewed with 5 ABA companies including Acuity within the same week and 4 of the establishments offered me a position, 2 on the spot. I am not writing this review because I was not presented a position, but because it is important for these corporations to know that their hiring employee is not doing their job. The atmosphere felt busy but boring. As I walked into the office, I checked in with the receptionist. There were many signs of other businesses that were shared on the same floor. Acuity is a small company, so I understood what I’d be expecting compared to the other establishments I’ve interviewed with so far. The individual that interviewed me walked in and led me to a room where the interview took place. This room was small and filled with miscellaneous items but didn’t feel too stuffy. The interview itself started with her asking me to tell her about myself, which then followed with her asking me if I had any questions. She never once asked me a scenario, role-play, or any questions involving ABA and autism. She seemed like support staff and shouldn’t be interviewing people for positions at the company. It was as if I was talking to a friend (in a negative way) and not a professional individual. After I came up with questions to ask her, she would answer them and follow up with asking me if I had any more questions… I felt that this interview was ridiculous and a waste of time. I would never recommend this company to anyone. I left in shock and I feel the need to let someone from the business know so that they can give the hiring position to someone more suitable for the job. I was very disappointed.

Lindsay Nguyen has an excellent group of ABA's working for her. Her flexibility in times for appointments is so helpful. She can zero in on things to help us manage, and maintain, and make progress. Autism is a difficult situation at best, but Acuity Solutions is wonderful. I would recommend them to anyone wanting to help their children.
