A wonderful place deep in the heart of Maine's woods for children and families with disabilities. My daughter and I were invited to participate in the MAIER event held here today. The couple who started this five years ago, (AnneMarie and Bruce) are wonderful folks who care greatly about people who struggle with disabilities. I had very nice conversations with both of them and would recommend that anyone who struggles with disabilities look them up and see what they offer. Today's event partnership with MAIER's Donna Doherty and a few other volunteers to give children with Autism Spectrum Disorder a fun time, and despite weather issues they had a great time fishing, hiking, playing games and enjoying each other's company! A huge thank you to AOEC and MAIER for giving such a great opportunity to gather and have fun!
