We recently moved into a new apartment that had DirecTV included via Satellite Center. We had to call to set up our account/DVR and every time we call they say “oh we’ll have to call you back” and they never do. It’s been about two weeks now and we still haven’t gotten it set up or the answers we need. They have been rude every single time we’ve talked to them, trying to argue with us and act very defensive when I told them we haven’t gotten any calls. They claim they’ve been trying to get ahold of my boyfriend but literally no one has called and when I said that, that’s when they got defensive, but why would my boyfriend lie to me about not getting a call? Today, they called me and I explained the situation yet again, all I got for an answer was “well we’ve been texting your boyfriend, does he not know how to text?” In the most snarky tone so I said “excuse me?” Just so I heard it right. I get people are stressed and busy but to be rude and have a smart mouth is unprofessional and childish. I’d gladly give 0 stars if I could.
Staff is well informed on the products they offer. That Todd is one tall drink of water.
I had a problem getting my replacement Genie remote to control the DTV audio through my receiver like my previous remote did. I spent an hour on the phone with a DTV representative who acted like she had never seen the service. I gave up and called Satellite Center hoping that since they install the product they might have a solution. Even though I was not a customer and it was close to their closing time they talked me through the process. Their patience was greatly appreciated.
My customer was mistakingly referred to the wrong satellite installation company. That’s exactly what this experience ended up being for them. System crashed within four days. One of their guys calls and the first thing he says to me is “ coincidence that the AV guy shows up and the satellite quits working “.... assuming that it must be me that caused the problem. Correction, I think you mean irony. It’s ironic that your installation is as bad as your service. You don’t deserve good clients when you treat people like that. Will never refer ANY of my customers to this company.
