I could not praise Aging Care Advocates highly enough! My mother was living in a nursing home the Tampa Bay area when I had to move out of state to assist another family member. Shortly after I moved, my mother needed to be moved into a different nursing home. At that time, I also had to attend a family member's wedding re-do following a hurricane cancelation. Jamie Cooney and staff of Aging Care found my mother the perfect nursing home placement, moved my mother - taking care of all details since I was traveling with disabled family members to the wedding. They also kept me notified regularly by phone. Jamie continues to be our advocate and professional geriatric social worker for my mother. She has a fantastic working relationship with staff at the nursing home. Jamie sends me detailed reports concerning every aspect of my mother's care, and we communicate by phone whenever needed.. If you don't feel capable of being your own professional advocate for your loved one, I would highly recommend using the staff of Aging Care Advocates to assist with your needs. They have the professional background and the personal connections to give the greatest care possible.
