I join the positive reviewers in almost every point they make. I also did a lot of research and was impressed with the professionalism, honesty, and patience of the salesperson (Tony Creed). Once I made the decision the rest of the process went smoothly without any significant hiccups or delays. These people know their trade. Highly recommended!

I did A LOT of research from panel manufacturers to installers and went through 19 different companies. By the end, salesmen thought I was in the solar business which I thought was quite funny. The team at Ailey gave me the best price and was great to work with throughout this whole process. It takes a couple months from planning and designing, permits, and finally inspection after the installation. The install is the easy part. I opted to go with a newer manufacturer in the US market, REC. Ailey wasn't a REC dealer initially, but they got the necessary work done in order to get the 25 year warranty coverage for me. Tony Creed, the salesman was honest right off the bat. He tells you how it is, and doesn't try to cheat you out on some cheaper lower efficient panel for a markup price like some companies do sadly. Any question I had, he either had the answer, or went to find it and got back to me. Dorian, who is a co-owner, worked with me on the design process and layout of the solar array. He was a great help with making sure everything lined up well. Chantal who does all the paperwork i.e. permit submissions, was also very helpful and kept things moving along. The jurisdiction I live in was tricky with a lot more required steps than other neighborhood to get all the necessary paperwork for our permit. We got everything done in under 3 months. My neighbor across the street had to wait 7 months for her install. They had a whole crew come in, started at 7 am and got done just before 5 pm with everything. I was very impressed and the installation team did a great job. We installed 25 REC 365w Black panels with a Solaredge 7600 inverter.

Ailey installed our system 18 months ago so we are through a full season and a half. We are very pleased with the system Ailey designed and their service. We had them produce countless designs until we settled on one. Installation was right on schedule and as expected. A shortage of inverter type got us an upgrade to a better model at no cost to us. After installation, Ailey kept working with us to obtain the Illinois SRECs and conversion of our utility contract to Net Metering from Dist Generation after we had 12 months of production data. They are always available to answer questions in a timely manner. I would use them again without question.

This is a great company. They made the whole process super easy for me and their communication is professional and courteous. They gave me several detailed proposals so I could choose how much I wanted to spend. The install process went smoothly. Almost three years later and the system is still working and looking great - producing even more energy than what was promised. They did all the paperwork with ComEd and to get the SREC credits. They even entertain my nerdy solar questions. All you have to do is pick up the phone! Edit: I am also remembering that they looked into my local ordinances and made sure the design was in compliance. That is something that another solar company that was giving me a proposal as well did not do

All said and done, great product, great people, they have answered all my questions and concerns. The best part is my lack of an electric bill.
