I took my 3rd grade class on a field trip here. We watched Dream Big (about engineering) and Black Holes. The videos themselves were high-quality and very educational. The planetarium has been recently renovated, is incredibly comfortable, and quite spacious. I would highly recommend a visit either individually, with your family, or with your students.

Fabulous! Get yourself to a show. What a wonderful and educational resource for our community and state for all ages! The shows are free.

The planetarium was a great experience for my entire family! In addition to a great (FREE!!!) show, you get to see the beautiful Air Force Academy. Be sure to see the nearby Chapel before it undergoes renovations. ****Lastly, I must give a HUGE shoutout to Ms. Judy from the planetarium. I forgot my purse under my chair and she made every effort to get it back to me ASAP. So good to know there are still wonderfully kind people out there!***

We have enjoyed three documentaries in their comfortable seats. Being free is an added bonus.

Wonder facility, kind staff, great experience! Took my kids, age 7, and other than not being big enough for the seat to stay set we had a wonderful time. I do suggest getting there early because it is first come first serve seating, but it is bright enough to read while you wait.

Wonderful free shows! Love what they’ve done with this planetarium. I’ve seen the Humpback Whales, Black Holes and Fighter Pilot shows so far. Humpback Whales was my favorite, but Fighter Pilot was amazing as well. Black Holes was slightly dull to me so kids might lose interest. It’s first come first serve so get there at least 30 minutes early during summer. Shows are weekdays at 12:30 and 1:30.
