I recently had a procedure at the Digestive Health Center. I was very satisfied with the quality of care I received. Everything went smoothly from the admission process all the way to discharge. I would highly recommend using them.

Rude staff. I asked if they received my referral, she asked my insurance, said we don't take that and then just hung up.

I don’t usually write reviews but my experience here was really frustrating. I made an appointment here with one of the doctors, when I made the appointment I asked how much time I should allow, the receptionist said the appointment should be about 30min. So I went ahead and scheduled the appointment in the morning. I got to the office 10 minutes early and was called back into the office pretty quickly, then I talked to a nurse about my symptoms and she had me watch a few videos on different scopes they do. Then she asked me if it was ok if the doctor brought a med student in with him, and I said that was fine. She left and I waited for the doctor, a few minutes later the med student came in alone. She asked me more questions about my symptoms then said she wanted to do a quick exam and I asked where the actual doctor was. She said he would be in soon. Then she left and I waited another 45 minutes in the exam room until I walked out and told the doctor who was just standing at the counter that I had to leave to pick up my daughter. They told me to allow 30min and I had been there an hour and a half without seeing a real doctor. I’m furious that they sent in a med student alone to examine me, this is unacceptable, I did not schedule an appointment with a med student nor did I pay to see her, I should have been examined by the doctor I scheduled to see. And I didn’t get examined by an actual doctor the whole time I was there. The doctor was nice when I talked to him to tell him I had to go but I do not think I will be going back here. I would like to see a doctor that makes me feel like they care about me, and this place does not care.

I think it would be nice if a patient goes and gets CT scans and were told they'd receive a phone call later that day or tomorrow, they should get a phone call. Someone should call to tell you the results or to let you know that the results have not come back yet, and they will call you on Monday. It's not acceptable to make a patient that is worried sick have to sit at home all weekend long. It's on their mind and everyone in their family are wondering and worried. What ever happened to compassion? Doesn't anyone care about the stress that the patient is going through? If it was someone related to someone in this office, I'm sure they would've handled it differently!
