Dr. Markarian is amazing! He does not sugarcoat anything. I have an extensive history of back surgeries and infection. I was extremely overweight and needed my L3-L4 and L4-L5 vertebrae fused. I was given a weight loss goal prior to surgery, which I achieved. The weight loss was for my benefit so that my surgery would be easier, heal better, reduce infection risk and decrease risk of damage to my hardware. Not to mention the weight loss is beneficial to my overall health. I am very grateful to Dr. Markarian and his team for what they have done and continue to do for me.
