There are tours of the Perkins Mansion, the John Brown House and the property. Learning about the history of this place was amazing. It is awesome to watch the sheep dogs(border collies) work the sheep that stay on the property through the spring and summer.

This is a local Akron historic site worth going to!!! Very interesting history, beautiful homes, great guides, and artifacts that assist in explaining things from history that come to life. This is well worth the price of admission and your time there will go by very fast. If you don't know about the local history here, I suggest that you give this a try.

Not open very often. More of a summer museum. Will get more stars when I go back in the spring.

I took my in-laws to Perkins Mansion when they came for a visit. We really enjoyed the tour and we learned a lot about the history of Akron.
