After spending hours shopping for a dining room fixture online, I had better success coming in to Whitmer’s showroom. It was much easier to picture the chandeliers in my room seeing them in person. The price was the same as online and I picked it up in a day or two. The salesperson was very helpful and not high pressure. I would go back.

Not surprised they are going out of business. I went in their store a few years ago because I was looking for new lights for my new home. I was completely ignored when I walked into the store. I was walking around for quite a long time and was not even acknowledged. Other people had walked into the store and were greeted immediately and asked if they needed any help. It was probably because I didn’t look like their typical clientele (I was younger than most of the shoppers and wearing my college sweatshirt). I finally decided just to ask one of the workers and she was incredibly dismissive. After that I left the store and took my business elsewhere. I never went back after that experience.

Excellent service from start to finish! They have great products and were very helpful when it came time for my wife and I to choose the right look, style, color and size for our home. We purchased quite a few lights for our new patio and to replace the existing fixtures and the staff was very knowledgeable and helpful. We highly recommend Whitmer's lighting.
