Al was able to find the best saxophone stand for my needs. As a bonus, Al demonstrated the difference in sound quality between a bronze saxophone versus a brass one. It was interesting to here the subtle difference in sound quality! This is not the kind of experience one would have at a franchise operation. I highly recommend Al Asmus Band Instrument Repair!

My experience with Al Asmus Band Instruments has been great. As a student at St. Cloud State, I've had many an opportunity to make purchases here, whether it would be reeds for woodwind methods or even metronomes to practice a rhythm. Al is very knowledgeable in regards to woodwind repairs and jazz music and the service is very friendly. I remember I was in woodwind methods class over 3 years ago and he was able to make repairs to my sister's alto saxophone which I used in class during the saxophone unit. I highly recommend this store to anyone going to St. Cloud State and to anyone in the St. Cloud area who loves playing band instruments. Al Asmus Band Instruments is a great resource to draw from.
