The Railroad closed their doors before I could go on my excursion. Lost out on this plus I had prepaid online so I won't ever get my money back. There was no response to emails or phone calls either.

The wine train ride was super fun. Our guide was very sweet and knowledgeable and you could tell he loved his job. The food was delicious. I have it 4 stars because the day of the event we received an email saying wine would not be served on the train. We did get some before and after but we missed it on the train. Would have been nice to have a glass while listening to the beautiful musician play in the New Orleans car. Otherwise beautiful event.
Very friendly, well run, scenic ride through the mountains. Great conductor.
What an experience! Memories to last a lifetime. If you can, buy tickets for the Alamosa Car (at the very rear of the train). It has a bar and also has the best photo ops. Hostess was very nice and informative. You will not regret your decision to ride on the Rio Grande Scenic Railroad.
Great day of beer tasting, food and music. Beautiful scenery. Well managed event. The trip up the mountain seemed a little too long.
