Fishing gold panning 10/10 would do again My family did a half day of fishing and half day of gold panning and it was the highlight of our trip to Alaska. We probably spent 6-7 hours fishing and only an hour or so panning for gold. Both were incredible experiences. Fred is truly superior in his knowledge of all things outdoors. We caught dozens of salmon primarily as a result of Fred putting us in the best spot along the river. There were lots of other people fishing but Fred seemed to know what no one else did! We were a bit tired when it came around to gold panning. Nevertheless we continued on with our gold panning equipment in hand. We only had enough energy to do one round of panning but once again Fred knew the right spot and we actually found several grams of gold!! All in all it was a fantastic day. 10/10 would do again and recommend to anyone. Thx Fred!!

We had a great time with Fred, Pam, Mike, and Caleb. We caught fish, found gold, laughed a bunch and had a really fun time. If you are looking for a guide that is good at his job and fun to be around then Fred is your guy. We did not have to worry about taking pictures of our day because he had it covered. We were able to enjoy and take in the beautiful day and scenery. It was the most fun we had on our vacation and our vacation included some really fun tours. We will definately call him the next time we come to Alaska.
Amazing experience with Fred and Pam out on the river for my wife’s birthday! He taught us to flyfish and had us catching huge fish in no time. The food that was prepared for lunch was unreal. Halibut, steak, corn, onions! The boys did an amazing job cooking up some excellent grub in the backcountry. To top things off we learned to own for gold and got to bring some home! Thanks Fred!
Best experience in our trip to Alaska! Fred made the whole day exciting. We rode ATVs, went gold panning and fishing and and saw parts of Alaska we never would have seen. He gave full attention to each member of our family. I can't recommend him highly enough!
