Front desk was a little rough around the edges. I was new and had lots of questions prepared and he immediately said \you've been here before RIGHT?\ To which I answered no. He seemed annoyed to tell me the amenities I could use and where they were so when I asked if I should go up the stairs he said \I'm not here to tell you what to do\.... it was off-putting. There were some super rude gentlemen having a loud homophobic conversation in front of me, clearly drunk. The redeeming factor you ask? The bartenders were the most friendly service I've had in a while anywhere. We had great pleasant conversation, she remembered my order, explained food options. Had she been at the front desk this would be a 5 star review. I've been in customer service my entire life and its getting more and more rare to find people with the actual gift for it. They redeemed the experience.

Love the newly renovated lounge. So inviting and the big windows give such a view of the airport and planes coming in and going off. The seperate Bar area is great! The wine selection ok although the complimentary ones were so so.. you pay for the premiums.. food is decent and they serve coffee with Starbucks premium coffee.. I enjoyed my 1.5 hrs there ..

With Covid-19 restrictions, they are doing a great job offering food and drinks with minimal contact. Red/Green table placards help guests know which tables have been sanitized and are ready for use versus ones that need cleaning. I've made 10 flights since April and feel completely safe. Alaska is doing a great job.

Be sure to keep an eye on your flight. Things happen and you could be waiting in the wrong place. Otherwise Alaska is a fine Way to Fly.

The only reason for 4 stars instead of 5 is because nothing can compare to the glory that is the lounge in Concourse N. And to be clear- Google is confused. I was in the lounge in Concourse D, which to my knowledge is the only one currently open. Unless you have a very long layover, I wouldn't pay the cover charge of 50 without an Alaska Airlines Visa, 25 with. Not at the moment. B.C. (Before Corona) it was totally worth it, and worth the steep annual fee for unlimited access. There was always a nice spread of food, hot and cold, and that with the free drinks and the free newspapers and the wifi and the comfy seats and being out of the fray was a value. Now the food offerings have dwindled to a few sad muffins that are more preservatives than actual food, and other dejected snacks. There are still comfy seats, but in the D concourse lounge you'll be sitting close to strangers who aren't wearing masks. If you have a membership already, as I do, it's a nice place to rest after getting through security. The service is wonderful and so is the sparkling wine. If you don't, wait until after the plague.
