I have used the services of the Alaska MacStore since it was at its previous location on Dimond. I have consistently been very happy with all aspects of their business. From helping me with technical issues to performing repairs, the entire staff has been extremely helpful, responsive, efficient, professional, and their charges are very reasonable. It is convenient to be able to park right out front of the store. I am grateful for their excellent services.

called the MacStore and explained the issue with iPhone 8 camera prior to visit. Over the phone, I was advised that (sounded confidently) I have to replace a camera for 100 and they have a computer to identify the root cause failure (hardware or software). I stopped by the store and left my phone for troubleshooting. An hour later I called and they told me that the brand new camera part did not fix the issue, and apparently, they didn't use a computer to test it??!?!? Then, they said it's likely to be software or board problem. (I had to pay them 50 which is understandable as it was for diagnostic fee.) But, there was a piece of dust or hair inside of the camera. I went back and asked them to remove it. I waited for 45 minutes to have my phone back. There was a mark on the edge of the screen where they might have pry-opened screen. I got tired of waiting for nothing and it is inexpensive iPhone 8 device so I just let it go and will not go back there again.

Awesome small business! The staff is all super nice and ridiculously smart! They take the time to listen and then offer their recommendations on what you need or what they can do to fix your Apple issue. They are an independent business separate from Apple, so they don’t work for free, but really the original Apple techies before there was ever an Apple store downtown. It’s a business you can trust! They saved the day and install more memory when my laptop was crashing due to low memory space available. I have even just needed Apple cords and called to see if they have it. If they don’t, they will order it for you and call you when it gets in. They treat their customers the way small businesses used to treat their customers back in the day. They are reasonably priced, trustworthy, really want their customers happy! They go above and beyond for them! You can’t go wrong going here for any of your Apple needs, but you could go wrong going anywhere else!

I brought in an older iPhone 5 of mine that the battery had gone out on. My dad was still running an iPhone 4 which was so outdated they were not putting updates out for it. For 60 they put a new batter in the iPhone 5 and it's been working like a charm for him for the past several months without any issues.

I called a local apple store and asked if they could look at my Mac and see what's wrong with it and i said i believe it's one of two things but i couldnt confirm this without another mac so i asked if i could get it checked out and they said yeah and i asked how much would it cost to look at and they said there would be no charge so they told me to bring it to one of there stores or authorised retailers so i want here and asked them to take a look and wanted to charge me over 100 to take a look so long story short i said no way and never went back to this wretchedly terrible store not to mention they had a sign that said to check if something was wrong would cost 20 not over a 100
