There was plenty of street parking although we were there around lunchtime in the middle of the week. It seems like this was once a really nice downtown area. It still is cute, but there isn't much here anymore. The welcome center has some history to it, so that was fun to read about. You are right on the river. Plenty of sidewalk which leads to the Riverfront Trail! Looks like there used to be some walkways that led out over the water, but they don't seem to be maintained anymore as they're submerged in water. Overall, it is a pretty area to spend some time alone or with the family!

It is a very enticing place to visit if you love to enjoy nature, arts, dining, and the affectionate folks. I went there last week with my family. There are very kind and friendly people. The first time we visited there and well-guided by the staff to visit Albany.

I went there last week with my family to enjoy my winter vacation. There we were greeted in a very pleasant way.Travel guides are friendly and always ready to help you, apart from it that place was very clean and pollution-free.

We went to Albany last week. We ate fish and that one is damn good. You can eat as much as you want. The food, as well as service, was excellent. Thanks, Blackbeard's

Deborah and her grandson visited Turtle Grove park as part of their virtual classroom field trip on Monday morning. We had fun while learning and playing at the same time.
