Like my husband says, people don't know what they're missing! I see so many people walk by this amazing little food place and go to Ichiban next door for Asian food.. When they don't realize there is the most delicious and authentic Middle Eastern cuisine right next door! Unlike other Middle Eastern food joints, they serve you plenty of meat and rice, try their lamb and rice which comes with big tender pieces of lamb, or order a half or whole chicken on rice, or try some thing else! They even offer free Arabic tea (black tea with cardamom), and give their candy a try! Seriously people, give Sheba Yemen a chance, you won't regret it!

Life altering. How do they get the meat SO tender? The rice? Abundant, luscious, perfumed. They hook you up with nourishing lamb broth and salad as an appetizer. Make sure to finish your meal with the adeni tea, which is sweet, strong and a dessert in and of itself. The server was friendly and attentive. I walked out of that place feeling like I had just been given a hug. Seriously, the best.

If you are tiered of always eating the same food and want to try new things this is the place to go very delicious and different types of yemeni dishes when I first started coming here i was scared to try the foods because I didn’t know what they are but now that im always here and have tried most everything im very happy i found this place. I talked to the young owner of the place and he is planning so much for the business cant wait to see how everything turns out.

This is my favorite place to eat. They have wonderful staff, excellent food, and it is a very peaceful environment. The meat is amazing. Both dine in and takeout are good.

Best salmon you will ever have in the albany area. Never frozen, the chef only brings fresh fish on market days. Baked to perfection, yemeni chili marinade on point. Breakfast beans known as fassolia very good. Fresh bread comes with it to serve as a utensil to scoop and eat. Ask the chef to make it “Nashif” which means “dried” in Arabic. They will cook it well done and give it a nice charred grilled flavor to it World class. Period
