I took the introductory 2 day course and came away very impressed with the professionalism and thoroughness of the instructor, Chuck Woods. The 2 days consists of 1 evening of gear familiarity and weather permitting... some intro to kiting (inflating the wing on the ground and keeping it aloft for as long as you can). The second session is a toe line assisted tandem paragliding ride, which although my flight was short due to light winds, definitely gave a good idea of what to expect and if the sport is a good fit for me. (Spoiler alert... it’s awesome!). Paragliding is an inherently risky sport but its clear throughout the experience that Chuck takes safety seriously and he does everything in his power to make it as safe as possible. I’m definitely saving up for the full course after this. Thanks again for the amazing experience!
