I attended David Brown's (Triad Defense) concealed carry license training. I am a weapons novice. David and his assistants did a great job of explaining the relevant laws and proper gun etiquette and safety. Many real world examples were explained. They were friendly and welcomed my numerous questions. David and his assistants have great experience and they run an excellent training. Both the classroom session and the range session were top notch.

I recently moved to Albuquerque from another state and decided that I wanted to be able to better protect myself and those I love. Although NM is an open carry state, I had never used a handgun before and would not even consider having a weapon without knowing how to use it safely and proficiently. I decided to take the required training for my concealed carry certificate. Choosing Triad Defense for this training was one of the best decisions I have made since coming to NM. David Brown is a master of his craft. He brings to the table decades of experience in law enforcement and this results in a “real world” approach to his training style. This man is a straight shooter (pun intended). You will be treated with respect and patience. David also has an incredible staff to assist him. I was particularly impressed with Adam who took the time to make sure I was comfortable with several different caliber of weapons as I was not yet sure what gun I should purchase. For those women that want to earn their certificate, I can tell you that there are several ladies on David’s team that are equally impressive. When you leave this course and obtain your certificate you can be assured that you will thoroughly understand handgun safety and the laws around the use of deadly force for self-protection. David and his staff genuinely care about their students and he encourages novices like me to call him anytime with questions or for advice. Use Triad defense to earn your CCW. You will not regret it.
