This place was so much fun AND educational. This place was huge with so many exhibits. We honestly just took our time and was there for 4 hours. It was definitely worth the ticket price. I highly recommend it if you are a true crime fan like me. They have a neat little gift shop where I bought a mug and a book on Al Capone. I cannot wait to start reading it.

If you are a crime fan you will love it here! Super interesting for my husband and I. Kids were a little bored but there is a lot of reading. Also don't waste your money on the audio devices. It's too loud to hear them and they kind of glitch in and out. We paid for them and didn't use them. Overall definitely worth the stop! Well worth your money to see all the cool stuff they have.

Poor management. We prepaid for 6 tickets online for the 12 PM slot. Arrived and got in line at 11:45. Line wasn't really moving, it was raining and there was no covering, so called and spoke with Ryan. Asked if needed to wait in same line as everyone else since prepaid and was told yes. Asked how long and was told it was a busy day and they would get us in as soon as they could. Once inside, found the hold up. There was only one person manning the front desk, selling tickets, printing tickets, handing out and explaining both audio devices and scavenger hunts, ridiculous! My printed ticket shows 12:00 PM admission, but it wasn't printed until 12:50 which means we waited in line, mostly in the rain, over an hour. Museum okay. Some neat things, but nothing special. Unfortunately for me, I had a 3 year old with me, who waited in line over an hour, to find out there was really nothing in the museum for littles besides a prison escape tunnel and a motorcycle you could sit on, so we had to leave our family behind. Best part of this museum, it was in walking distance to the Island.

Be prepared to be there for a good while! Pretty crowded but stayed moving. I wouldn't bring my kids they are 5 and 6 maybe around pre-teen age they would like it. But me and my husband had a good time!

Very enjoyable and educational experience. We spent about 2 hours here and could have spent more if we took the time to read all the information available. We only walked through but they did offer and audible tour and a couple of add on like scavenger hunt and a laser maze but we didn't partake in those. Highly worth checking out just set aside a few hours to make it worth your while.
