Nicely maintained golf course. A mix of short and medium holes - not a bad place for newer players but also a good spot for those with more experience. Had a great time and would recommend trying this place out.

Played Greendale yesterday, Sept. 6, 2020 It was a disaster! Most tee boxes were dirt, 14th green gone - hole closed. Other greens virtually destroyed, crab grass growing everywhere in greens, fairways not mowed, rough not mowed. Rough growing into greens. Wet and muddy in many low lying places. One of the worst condition golf courses I have ever played in my entire golfing career since I was 12 yrs. old. See attached photos. Much of the damage is due to weather, fungus, excess moisture and excessive heat, but a lot of deterioration is due to negligence in maintenance - such as not mowing when it could be done, lack of fertilization, trash bins not emptied, missing tee markers, traps not raked, trees/bushes not trimmed, etc. During this summer I have played at least 10 different area courses, all of which have faced the same tough summer weather, but none of them are in this poor a condition. The course is basically destroyed, and especially not worth the 40 greens fee, even with a 25% discount for the closed hole. Avoid!! FCPA should be ashamed of themselves.

I personally enjoy the course and have always been treated nicely there BUT the pace of play is painful. Pinecrest and Jefferson are the same. Multiple people working but pace of play never being enforced. I played at 12pm on a Tuesday and it took 51 minutes to play two holes. I just walked off and went home. There are plenty of practice facilities and par 3 courses in the area so I don't think it is wrong to require some type of pace. I guess if you have 3 hours to play nine holes then Greendale is a good course but I just never can make that kind of time to play so little golf.

Cheap, but good. Friendly staff and forgiving holes. What else would you need?

for what it's worth it's a decent golf course. the lack of a chipping green and a driving range are a bit meh, but it is what it is.
