I always do my firearm business, with this store haven't been there recently, however have heard that they are making a serious effort to accommodate everyone. Keep in mind that they are not making the customer capacity rules , so be patient small businesses depend on us!

Stopped by this store on my way home today 7/11/2019 found a gun that I like a Beretta 92 compact and was going to but it. Now I have bought a few guns from this store in the past. But this time I was asked for my I'd I gave them my state issued ID card along with my CCW issues by VA and both addresses match up and is the same address they have in there system from my othe gun purchases. Well I was told they could not sell me a gun with a state issued ID that it had to be a drivers license. Well I need to get a duplicate one becuase mine was messed up from work so the DMV gave me a paper one till the hard rivers license comes in. Well when I got my driver's license the state also issued me a state issued ID as well and that I had a hard copy one of. Nope they would not sell me a gun even with CCW, state issued ID and paper drivers license. Now under VA gun laws all a person is required to have is a state issued ID card from VA. As a military veteran I truly feel I was being discriminated against when in fact a met all the requirements under VA laws to buy a gun in VA as this is my state resident and have a permit to carry a concealed hand gun in this state with the same address as my state issued ID. I will never go back there again and plan on posting this to every social media outlet I can as well as let all my VFW brothers know about this as well as well as file a complaint with the prince Williams BB and chamber of Commerce thank you for reading as I know it was long but sometimes things can not be said with one word.

I really appreciate the management and staff at all shooters tactical. After going back and forth over a new purchase, instead of being pressured into a decision I was offered to let them place the weapon on hold for a day while I did more research. Everyone that I’ve talked to either in person or over the phone was helpful and knowledgeable. I’ve already recommended this business to friends and will definitely continue to support AST with future purchases.

I have had many transfers completed at this shop along with a purchase. The purchase went well and the staff is very nice but when it comes to transfers the service can really be worked on. First it takes them more than 3 days to even process the transfer and let you know they received the firearm(most gunbroker sales only give you 2 days after shipment to review the firearm if you need to send it back due to damage etc.) when you try to call the shop no one ever answers. Sometimes you can get through but most days no answer.

I’m sure it’s a great store if you have a few hours and I understand we are in middle of a pandemic but only letting in 3 people at a time is pretty ridiculous. I finally got discouraged after waiting in 40 degree weather while it was raining for 45 minutes.
