We are locals and know the waters. Our guide, Captain Mike, met and exceeded our expectations! He knew some places to fish that were amazingly successful. What a kind, conscientious, knowledgeable young man. He even made 4 dolphins magically appear in our wake on the way home. Outstanding backwater trip! Highly recommend Captain Mike!

My wife and I rented a double kayak from here in January. Cocahachee River is a nice spot for kayaking. We took the winding river all the way out to Wiggins Pass and had lunch on Barefoot Beach. Peaceful and lovely spot. The Marina made it very simple. They also do jet ski tours and boat rentals. Nice folks. Efficient and no fuss.

My husband and I were on our honeymoon in Naples and heard about AWE through Hyatt and our boat drivers on the way to the private beach. So so glad we booked! Kevin was our guide and he had a great personality, was very knowledgeable and you could tell he was very on top of things. Plus, we saw lots of dolphins and beautiful homes along the way! Would highly recommend!

Being on a jet ski on the water is wonderful! It is a gorgeous route! However, our guide today was not great. He basically rode his jet ski for 2 hours and did not look back to see if we were still there! Never mind any kind of explanation of wildlife or the surrounding area. When we were done he said that he gets bored when he does more than one guide per day. It showed!! I don’t even know his name. But we have been there before and the other people that we have interacted with were very friendly and helpful. Kevin, for example, is terrific. Maybe play it safe and ask for Kevin.
