Very cute shop! They had these little bears hanging out in the front, made from alpaca fur apparently. Definitely couldn't pass up getting a soft little gift from here.

Very nice things, very expensive though. Customer service needs huge improvement. First thing first - if you want to retain business and make your customers comfortable, stop hovering over them in the store. Let me breathe. Every time I come into this place, I am followed around and anything I remotely glance at, I get told the specifics and pricing. It’s a huge turn off and makes me uncomfortable each time. I would probably stay in the store and browse for longer and in turn buy something if you weren’t following me watching my every move. Bears and small stuffed animals are 85 dollars which is outrageously expensive.

We spent 5 minutes in the store and my friend walked out with the most epic poncho of all time. She'll basically look like an alpaca queen for the rest of her life, so we were very pleased for the spontaneous trip into Alpaca Exotic Imports. They have extremely soft and cozy pillows, blankets and accessories for all your wintery needs. There are locations all around town!
I enjoyed looking at all the exotic and cool stuff in this store. My friend bought fur boots and a poncho. This is part of what made my stay at South Lake Tahoe amazing!
Wanted to go in, but niether of the men working have masks on. Was really excited to buy one if the bears, bur I guess we will save the money
They push a political agenda with a Trump hat front and center and do not practice any safety guidelines for Covid-19.
