We arrived slightly less than an hour early for our reservation. I typically arrive 15-30 minutes early and am seated not problem. We asked if that was alright and the hostess said it was fine and our table would be ready soon. The hostess would disappear and reappear while another hostess appeared and sat in the waiting area and played on her phone. When walk ins came in, she would either tell them the wait was indefinite or that she didn’t know. She was explain in more detail, but I couldn’t hear past her initial response. We waited until a few minutes after our reservation and were seated. Our party of four was seated with a party of three. The party of three felt uncomfortable being sat with us, and moved to another table. It was surprising as the website made them seem a lot more COVID conscious. I, however, would not have had a problem with them being seated with us. Carlos, the chef, was fantastic. He was very clean. The food tasted good. Our sever was also very nice and attentive. While we go to hibachi restaurants up to several times a month, Benihana is usually reserved for more special occasions for us. We pass many hibachi restaurants to get to this one. Benihana used to have a more original, upscale feel. This used to offset the higher than usual price tag. However, the atmosphere of the restaurant was lacking this time. There was nothing upscale about our meal, just the standard hibachi experience. I do want to emphasize how great the chef and server were. Our less than experience had nothing to do with them. The manager came over after our and requested our feedback and a google review. After some research, I understand why. Bring the Benihana magic and prestige back, and we’ll be back. Until then, there’s lots of other less expensive options much closer.

This visit was for my Birthday. They went above and beyond as they do with everyone celebrating a special occasion. I THROUGHLY enjoyed myself. Staff extremely Friendly, seated in a timely fashion. Likewise the food was delicious. Wonderful experience and highly recommend this location to EVERYONE!
We were on time for our reservation but waited 20 min before being seated. We waited almost another 30 min for our drinks. There were only maybe 4 tables open. When asked about the wait, the bartender was “busy” lol. All we had was wine and beer. ZERO sense of urgency from the wait staff.
Our cook was excellent!!! The plates and silverware wasn't properly cleaned, and the bar was closed because they didn't have enough people to run it!! We were cute tho!!
We have been here several times in the past with varying degrees of service and food quality. It took us a while to come back because the last time was so poor. I am extremely pleased to say that this location has worked tremendously hard to improve their food quality, service, and experience. Indira was our server: prompt, courteous, and attentive. She was always coming by to make sure we had everything we needed. David was our chef: great conversation and the food was excellent. Corporate flew him in from CA to this location just for the week; we hope he can stay as he was great to have. We will definitely be back.
