Matt, Steve and James did their first job for me by replacing a third floor fixed custom window for me -- it had to fit within HOA requirements that other firms or handymen could not do. I could not be more pleased with their work! And they worked HARD! Matt is particularly adept at solving problems. Matt created bookshelves within an existing bar in my kitchen. I am particularly pleased with these - the quality is outstanding and he added some nice details. I also asked Matt to come up with a creative solution to hang a bench swing on my inside porch without attaching to the ceiling or taking up too much visual space with a tripod-type contraption. Matt came up with the perfect solution by figuring out how to attach a beam to the concrete wall on one side and an outside beam on the other. It looks like it is supposed to be there. The next homeowner can easily remove the beam. Matt also figured out how to hang two stained glass panels on my porch brick walls without touching the panels themselves. He suggested adding lights behind the panels to show them off better and left room to do that. What a great idea! Carpenter and Company has also done pressure washing, deck staining, small bathroom shower door repair, painting and touch-ups, adding mosquito netting and repairing porch screens -- you name it -- they are my go-to for big and little! And, a final note that has also made me a client forever: It is such a pleasure to work with folks that don't try to change your mind -- they just try to figure out how to get what you want!
