Huge Blessing to My Family! The team at Oak Grove Academy have been a HUGE blessing to my family. Miss Linda taught my 4 year old to read. The 2s teachers potty trained my 2 year old within like a month of enrollment, and the school is filled with such caring and special people like Miss Allyson, Mr. David, Miss Sandra, Miss Kathy, Miss Ray & Miss B., Miss Annie, Miss Melissa &a Miss Jennifer, and More! They aren't perfect, but no school is. But they are all-stars at loving my children, and that is the most important thing I can ask for. They have been understanding when my life has been crazy, and they are happy to hug me when Mommy has a bad day too. It's so reassuring when they call over little scraped knees because I know they are looking after my children's safety and will always be forthright with me. This is really a rare gem full of special, loving people. They pour love and all their hearts into creating a safe, loving, enriching environment for my children, and to us, they have made an eternal impact on my children! (They also try so hard to do fun special events like back to school family parties, amazing field trips and more.) Thank you Oak Grove

Our 3 children have been loved and nurtured by the entire staff at Oak Grove for over 5 years. Our oldest son graduated from pre-k 4 and ENTERED kindergarten reading at a second grade level, thanks to Mrs. Linda. The director, Allyson, is a true asset to the school. She is so warm and friendly, and I feel like I am leaving my children with a family member! This is a wonderful school.
We started attending Oak Grove when our daughter was just over a year old and stayed until she was about 2.5 years old. We were overall content with the school for about a year, but they started having a lot of teacher turnover (which also coincided with a price increase in tuition). It got so bad that I would not know the teacher that my daughter was having from day to day, and I never knew which big combined classroom they would be using to try to cover for teacher absences. I was understanding for a few months, but asked to receive some communication around the efforts to improve the teaching situation, as well as some indication so that I would know who was watching my daughter throughout the day. It got to the point that my daughter cried every day not wanting to go to school, and I had a hard time prepping her for the day when I didn't know any details myself. One day, I picked her up and she was wearing another child's panties and pants, even though I had dropped off a change of clothes for her. The teachers were so inconsistent that they couldn't keep up with who was where. To make matters worse, all of our requests for communication were left completely unanswered. We sent a final notification that we were leaving and explained our grievances. None of our concerns were met with a response. We felt completely disrespected and did not feel comfortable for our daughter to attend a school with such an absence of concern. We have since switched schools and we are shocked at the level of communication that is a standard at the other schools. I never knew that I was supposed to be receiving DAILY updates! And we also found that tuition at the surrounding schools is actually less than that at Oak Grove, even though Oak Grove provided extremely sub-quality service. The only reason that they are getting two stars is because we did have a few teachers who genuinely loved our daughter and tried their best given their environment.
I have been visiting this school for over 12 years. I would heartily recommend it. The program is wonderful. I visit schools all across the country. This one is exemplary.
Great school! I have been bringing my daughter to this school since Pre K-3, she is now in Kindergarten. I highly recommend the Oak Grove Academy to anyone.
