Our family just had the best week at Sprucedale! I was a little nervous since my kids have never ridden horses (and I haven’t since I was a kid) but I cannot say enough good things about our experience. The wranglers were all so helpful, kind and patient with us. They went the extra mile to make sure we were all comfortable and safe. And they made it so fun!! The scenery is just gorgeous and my kids had a blast running wild and getting dirty and I loved the slow cowboy pace, the quiet and being unplugged from the rest of the world. A few warnings for first timers like myself... 1. You will get dirty! This place is a legit ranch so next time we go I will bring extra sets of clothes & socks so I have something clean after a nice hot shower! Haha. 2. Your kids will cry when it’s time to leave! We stayed a whole week and they asked if we could stay forever. This place is literally a dream. 3. Be prepared to gain a few pounds! The food is amazing and literally everything is homemade and delicious, my jeans were definitely getting tight by the end of the week! We are already planning our trip for next year!

AHHHHMAZING!! My family just spent the most wonderful week at Sprucedale Ranch. I went there as a teen 27 years ago, and worried it might not live up to all of my great memories...but it did! The staff was great, the horses were well suited for all riding abilities, and the ranch helped us disconnect from electronics and reconnect as a family. Sitting around a large family style table with three very tasty home cooked meals each day was also a huge highlight. We loved they friends our kids made there and we will be back!
Sprucedale is Heaven on Earth! The staff takes such good care of their guests and treats them like family. Riders of all ability levels have an opportunity to learn and grow. This is a good, clean family vacation opportunity that all ages will LOVE! We can't wait to return next year.

This was the best vacation ever just getting back to the basics.the staff made you feel like part of the family, the weather was perfect and the food to die for. Riding the horses every day taking a different trail up thru the beautiful pines was unbelievable. Perfect family vacation. This was my 80th birthday present to me and it was Perfect. Many memories were made plus new friends.
I have to start with Sprucedale guest ranch is a must!!!! 5 stars across the board the staff the food the cabins and definitely the experience. It’s definitely a must do, last week was my first experience and I already reserved a week for next year. Hope that’s helpful didn’t want to make it to long.
Accommodations were cozy and comfortable. The cabin we stayed in had two queens and a twin, a dining table, wood stove, and full bath. The food was fantastic and the Wiltbank family and staff were friendly and hospitable. This is a great place to unplug and enjoy the outdoors. Absolutely gorgeous place to bring the family.
